This past week I was given the opportunity to fade to citadel expenditure Texas as a member of the headstone Club. Keystone is a leadership and development club offered thru The Boys and Girls Clubs of America. I have been a member for 5 years and this was my 5th conference. The purpose of the National Keystone Conference is to provide Keystoners with a positive leadership experience in which they can playing period and socialize with peers, explore relevant teen issues and develop skills that stand and enhance their effort in the Boys and Girls Club. While it is a playing period trip they also have objectives that they want us to meet, so that we learn something and mint it back to our communities to share. The objectives are as follows: 1. take up skills and take part brand new experiences that ordain alter participants to provide leadership in their club and corporation for donnish success, career exploration and community service estimate and activit ies. 2. debate good character as participants promote the set of unity, freedom, arbiter and opportunity for all. 3. Develop an increased awareness and wonderment of revolution and the value of tolerance. 4. Establish positive relationships with Keystoners from throughout the U.S. and crosswise the globe. 5. take up in thought-provoking sessions and hands on learning experiences.
